  1. That ending had me on the edge. Holy fucking shit so close!

Also, at parts I wanted to go through the screen and punch you. Why didn't you use the power attack of the axe on enemy clusters or those fast moving annoying ass moldy panther like things?

  2. I might be fucked up for thinking this, but I find walter somewhat attractive. Like physical wise, he kind of looks like kurt Cobain or snow from final fantasy xiii: lightning returns. His height and broad shoulders look so good. And I know hes horrible for killing so many innocent victims and for creating the otherworlds that caused others immense pain. Not to mention it is really creepy. But, I actually feel bad for him. All of his actions and behaviors are a result of emotional pain. He longs to feel peace, at home, the warm light of his "mother". He is in so much agony that he would kill, do anything to be reunited with his "mom". Like. Underneath all of his sadistic, evil behavior, he's just like us, he's searching for love and comfort. And the fact that he is searching it from his mom only makes it even more heartbreaking. Not to mention, he is just a guy who has been abandoned and later on abused at smile society. The years of abuse has caused mental pain and chaos, but before that, he was an ordinary guy with a conscience. You can even get a glimpse of the fact that he was a kind hearted, innocent person by the fact that his kid self protected cynthia from his older self. This comes to show that his innocence was stolen. Maybe I'm weird.

  3. Man, I remember just seeing the cover of this game in Blockbuster as a kid and having the shit scared out of me.

Then coming across a video of the giant Eileen head and having that stick with me as one of the most unsettling things I had ever seen without even realizing it was from that same game with the scary as shit cover.

So much of what scared me as a kid seems almost laughable now but as someone playing through the first four Silent Hill games for the first time ever in my 20s, they genuinely get under my skin and freak me out like nothing else.

  4. This game and the original The Evil Within title both gave me the strangest REM dreams as I would go to sleep after a evening of gameplay. Not nightmares, just straaaaange dreams.
