  1. ENJOY 2 HONEST GAME TRAILERS THIS WEEK IN HONOR OF E3, one yesterday (The Division 2) and one today! What game from E3 are you most excited for?

Honest Game Trailers returns with the same creative team from Smosh Games and Screen Junkies. Featuring a rotating cast of voices to give greater variety to the trailers. Check back every Tuesday for a brand new Honest Game Trailer at 10AM Pacific.

One: Speak up and join the conversation- we encourage respectful debate.
Two: Respect your community- racism, misogyny, homophobia and hate speech aren’t tolerated.
Three: Don’t go looking for fights.
Four: “Be nice.” – Dalton from Roadhouse

  2. Yeah…not quite the same. I get there is likely some contract deal or something as to why the Epic Voice Guy isn't on the videos, but we have to remember that the old Honest Trailer voices on the movie side weren't all that great until he came on. The biggest issue here, however, is that their line reading is just so…flat. EVG is so great because he has such dynamic inflection in his voice to convey a range of emotions and to really emphasize certain jokes. The jokes aren't funny just because someone with an intimidating or deeper voice reads it. You need to direct them with more punctuation and emphasis.

  3. Voice Guy's voice is too sophisticated for the type of humor they're going for and the timing is off. Maybe pace the jokes more closely together or raise/lower the level of humor?

  4. The problem with the new voice over guy is that he's actually too smooth. We need him to sound more sarcarstic, desperate, snarky and hopeles…. you know… like a typical gamer.
